Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens

Enjoy top-level sporting entertainment as the best rugby teams battle it out at the 49th edition of the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens. Cheer on your favourite team and enjoy the experience of attending one of the most exciting sporting events in Dubai. More than 100,000 fans will gather in Dubai during the three-day event to enjoy a variety of non-stop activities: from sport to concerts, competitions and family events, to enjoying a bite to eat in the food and drink areas.

Omega Dubai Desert Classic

The biggest golf tournament in the Middle East, the Omega Dubai Desert Classic (ODDC) 2019, now in its 30th edition, promises to be another fantastic tournament with the world’s top golfers converging in Dubai to compete for this coveted title. China’s Haotong Li took the title on the Majilis Course in 2018 to make it onto the ODDC wall of fame with other golfing legends like the Seve Ballesteros, Fred Couples, Ernie Els Colm Montgomerie, Tiger Woods, Henrik Stenson and Sergio García.

Dubai Tennis Championship

The annual Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships returns in 2019, with world-class players expected to wow the crowds at this unmissable event. Previous highlights have included non-other than Roger Federer winning three times in a row between 2003 and 2005. Other tennis great who have also won here include Rafa Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Venus Williams. Dubai World Cup

Dubai is the obvious location for the biggest horse race in the world. The Dubai World Cup provides the perfect setting to see the best horses in the world compete for the highest prize money in the international racing calendar. The Dubai World Cup is attended by the who’s who of Dubai society along with international celebrities, who invade the stables with glamour, sophisticated styles and their most elegant looks.

ART & GASTRONOMY

Dubai Jazz Festival

The Emirates Airline Dubai Dubai Jazz Festival is back for its 17th edition in February 2019. The festival will take place over ten days, with performances from local and international jazz and blues artists at venues all over the city before the main events that takes places over three days at the Media Centre Amphitheatre. The 2018 edition of the festival has Duran Duran, John Legend and Ricky Martin headlining the festival, while previous years have seen big names like Tom Jones, Kool & The Gang and Mariah Carey take to the stage. Dubai Food Festival – DFF

Dubai Food Festival is the only truly citywide food festival in the Middle East. The festival celebrates Dubai’s emergence as a gastronomic destination and offers a calendar of exciting food events and promotions by highlighting Dubai’s unique food scene, its peculiarities and multicultural dining experiences. With over 200 nationalities living in Dubai, the event reveals the diversity and creativity of the city’s culinary offering, which ranges from gourmet and avant-garde concepts to restaurants serving local food and hidden gems in remote parts of the city.

Art Dubai

Art Dubai is a leading global art fair that aims to broaden the passion for art outside of the traditional art centres and galleries.
